In the summer of 1970, when I was just a little baby, my parents Jean Marie and Marie Claire Albeau opened the school in one of the most privileged areas of the beach, ideal for sailing sports. Over the years we have welcomed thousands of young people and adults who have come to learn or perfect their skills accompanied by our certified instructors.

 

L'Ecole de voile de La Couarde is a family business, I grew up there, I meet there the sport, the wind and the sea, I wanted it for me, and here in Île de Ré I learned to be a champion.

46 years have passed, and during all this time we have been consistently opening our sailing school to welcome all the vacationers who come to discover our region, and also to those customers who have been with us for generations.
